U.S. light crude oil extended losses, falling 1.1 percent to $55 a barrel, having hit an 18-month low and driven the Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index <.CRB> to its lowest in nearly two years on Tuesday. Nuclear Deal Confusion...

Under the bill, the U.S. president would be required to end the export of nuclear materials if India tests another nuclear device. It tested one in 1998.

It also does not guarantee uninterrupted fuel supplies for reactors and prevents India from reprocessing spent fuel.
These conditions were not acceptable to India and this had been conveyed to the U.S.
