Larsen Q3 net profit rises 33 pct on year

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Engineering and construction firm Larsen & Toubro Ltd. said on Monday quarterly profit rose 33 percent, helped by better margins.

Net profit rose to 3.44 billion rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, from 2.59 billion a year earlier. Net sales rose to 41.18 billion rupees from 36.89 billion.
