The market opened on a very depressed note on the back-drop of poor show by the other Asian & European markets and a low sentiment prevalent before the announcement of the Union Budget as prices of equities witnessed a setback, trading in the negative territory for the rest of the trading session with some signs of recovery at the end but still closing very low as compared to the earlier session. The S&P CNX Nifty closed at 3745.30 which is 148.60 points down from previous close.
