The 50-share NSE index closed 1.01 percent down at 4,113.05, its lowest close since May 11. The benchmark BSE 30-share index fell 127.92 points to end at 14,003.03 points, its lowest close since May 15, with 21 components losing ground.
* Debutant Time Technoplast Ltd. closed at 480.35 rupees, well above its offer price of 315 rupees a share.
* Sical Logistics Ltd. rose 5 percent to 258.30 rupees after its board approved raising up to 1.03 billion rupees through a share issue to Credit Suisse Singapore and Macquarie Bank.
* Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. jumped 10 percent to 367.15 rupees after the construction firm said it had secured two overseas orders worth 10.07 billion rupees.
* IMP Powers Ltd. rose 4.4 percent to 127.65 rupees after the electrical equipment maker said it had received a $1 million export order from Zambia for power transformers.
