* Construction firm UB Engineering Ltd (UBE.BO: Quote) extended gains to touch its maximum daily limit of 5 percent after its board approved a 5-for-13 rights share issue priced at 126 rupees per share. The stock was at 158.95 rupees.
* Adlabs Films Ltd (ADLF.BO: Quote) rose 2.7 percent to 1,181.70 rupees after it said it would be operating a 200-screen cinema exhibition chain in U.S.
* GMM Pfaudler Ltd (GMMP.BO: Quote) rose 3.9 percent to 160.90 rupees after its board discussed plans for acquisition of Mavag AG of Switzerland.
* State-run Engineers India Ltd (ENGI.BO: Quote) extended gains after its chief on Monday said the firm hopes to conduct a feasibility study for a new refinery in Egypt on behalf of India Oil Corp ( IOC.BO: Quote). Shares in the firm rose 3.8 percent to 866 rupees.
* Piramyd Retail Ltd (PMDR.BO: Quote) jumped 10 percent, the maximum daily limit, after a unit of Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd ( INRL.BO: Quote) agreed to buy 63.9 percent in it for 400 million rupees. Shares in Indiabulls Real Estate were up 5.46 percent at 725.10 rupees.
* Eicher Motors Ltd (EICH.BO: Quote) rose 4.1 percent to 568 rupees ahead of the firm's board meet to consider a strategic partnership for its truck business. The company is scheduled to make an announcement around noon on Monday. Media reports have said Sweden's Volvo ( VOLVb.ST: Quote) was the front runner.
