The Economic Times website sucks. They show a list of Penny stocks on the left side of their website to make a feeling that everyday you will get 20% return... The stocks they display are of no fundamental values. If a 10 rupee stock increase by 1 rupee then its 10% gain. To make people who don't know about markets they display just the CMP and Percentage. The stocks probably sold only 10 or 100 shares a day. That means you cannot purchase these stocks generally due to stock price touching the upper limit when market opens or the sellers were quite few. The economictimes website just displays the green 10% 20% price increase just to fool people. This may not be illegal but quite unethical. The Economic Times website sucks. Even brokers' website will show stocks in green and red.!
