Sahara and EmaarMGF files paper for IPO

* MindTree Ltd (MINT.BO) extended gains to as much as 629 rupees, up 5.74 percent, after the company said it acquired Kyocera Wireless India Pvt Ltd.
Shares were up 4.73 percent at 623 rupees.

* Shares in Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (SADE.BO) extended gains and rose as much as 5.47 percent to 859.7 rupees after the company said it won two road projects worth 4.77 billion rupees from the Jharkhand Road Projects Implementation Company Ltd.
Shares were up 4.28 percent at 850 rupees.

* Automotive components maker Sundram Fasteners Ltd (SNFS.BO) rose as much as 6.36 percent to 43.45 rupees after the Mint newspaper reported the firm is eyeing a shift from low-cost auto parts to high-profit, technology-intensive components via acquisitions and an entry into the aircraft parts business.
Shares were up 2.08 percent at 41.7 rupees.

* Era Infra Engineering Ltd (ERCI.BO) fell as much as 13.9 percent to 140 rupees after the company sold shares in two block deals in early trade on the BSE at 145-152.7 rupees, a discount to Friday's close of 162.6 rupees, dealers said.
Shares pared losses but were still down 4.24 percent at 155.7 rupees.

* Gammon India (GAMM.BO) jumped 3.98 percent in early trade after its board last week approved raising up to $200 million via qualified institutional placement of shares.
Shares were up 2.75 percent at 200.05 rupees.

* Lupin Ltd (LUPN.BO) rose as much as 4.37 percent to 1,184.7 rupees after the company said on Tuesday it bought US rights for cholesterol lowering drug Antara for $38.61 million from US listed Oscient Pharamaceuticals (OSCI.O).

Power companies such as GMR Energy, Indiabulls Power and JSW Energy and state-run Bharat Heavy Electricals and NTPC are likely to tap the primary market. Reliance Infratel also announced on Tuesday, 22 September 2009, its intention to raise Rs 5,000 crore from the primary market
