Alstom Projects India extended gains and rose as much as 4.5 percent to 545 rupees after the firm said on Tuesday it won contracts worth 3.65 billion rupees from Hindalco Industries for supply and installation of four gas treatment plants.
Shares were up 3.92 percent at 542 rupees.
* Unichem Laboratories Ltd rose as much as 10.8 percent to 279.8 rupees after the drugmaker said late on Monday it had received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its bulk drug facilities in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
